The geometric pattern formed by the twisted stitches on these socks was inspired by the beautiful leaded spires of Southwark Cathedral in London. The socks are knitted in the round from the cuff down. Both charts and written instructions are included.

Gauge

32 stitches × 42 rounds = 10cm (4″) in stocking stitch in the round.

44 stitches × 48 rounds = 10cm (4″) in twisted stitch pattern in the round (lightly stretched).

Stitch pattern gauge is approximate and given only as a guide. The pattern pulls in a lot on the needles but is very stretchy when worn.
