Celebrating 5 years of the Kentigern Shawl
This week is the fifth anniversary of the release of my Kentigern Shawl and, to celebrate, there is 20% off all purchases until midnight GMT on Wednesday 31 October 2018 (discount is automatically applied—no code required).
St Kentigern (more commonly known as St Mungo) is the patron saint of the city of Glasgow. He is supposed to have performed four miracles in the city, which are commemorated in a traditional rhyme and in the city’s coat of arms
Here’s the bird that never flew,
Here’s the tree that never grew,
Here’s the bell that never rang,
Here’s the fish that never swam.
The Kentigern Shawl incorporates lace patterns representing each of the miracles. The pattern includes charts and full written instructions for both the circular and semi-circular versions.
